After being in Los Angeles for the week, I am so happy to be home. I mean, it is really cool and all, especially if you’re a tourist, and I guess I kind of got the tourist experience this past week.
- Downtown Los Angeles walking tour and Fashion District to walk around
- Santa Monica pier with all the rides then walking to Venice Beach
- Walking the boardwalk in Venice Beach, checking out all the ‘interesting’ people and awesome artwork
- Six Flags Magic Mountain (after 4 hours of public transportation to get there)
- Hanging out at UCLA with the French girls + French guys + Awesome Swede Kristin + mi amigo yoshua = good time even if the party gets rolled even before we get there
- Walking around Hollywood, and even took a celebrity home star tour in a convertible jeep with leopard seat covers
- Getty Museum, seeing the beautiful art and views of the city
- Santa Ana for a soccer game, to watch and root on my buddies Mike & Greg
- Hanging out at the soccer house, which had temporarily become an international hostel as well
- Watching the sunset in Hermosa Beach with some kickass Australians and a few good 40’s of my dear friend, Old E
- Lying on the beach in Manhattan Beach, catching some sun
- Public transportation all over Los Angeles. I can get anywhere in that city now without a car
So in conclusion, I showed the Scandinavians a good time, I had a good time, and I got to see some good friends. But I am super stoked to be back at my house in San Diego, and to relax for a little bit.
Over and out.
